This pump is well made, but it takes a lot of effort to connect it to a shredder or presta valve. If you're lucky, you might be able to sit correctly once in 10 attempts. Now it just sits in the corner of my garage collecting dust. There's a reason the new version has 2 separate valve mounts instead of messing around with rubber valve adapters. Don't waste money on it. I ended up going back to my old $15 Schwinn bike pump, which connects to the shredder valve on the first try every time. If I need to connect to a Presta valve I use a 10 cent adapter.
