Not suitable for Sony camcorders!

Ordered to connect a Sony DV camcorder to a DVR; both have a 4-pin FireWire connector. This cable looks like a 4-pin FireWire cable, but it simply WILL NOT fit into the camcorder or DVR port unless you push hard enough to damage the devices. It's just not designed for a high enough tolerance. How do you ruin a simple cable? We return to Raven.
