Review on Enhanced Replacement Remote for Sharp Roku TV LC-32LB481U LC-43LB481U LC-50LB481U LC-55LB481U by Sean Burnett

Not sure what to expect for $8 but if it looks like a Roku remote, like a Roku -Remote smells and feels like a Roku remote I thought I had a Roku remote. Not this case. I've had Roku since the beginning and the remotes have ALWAYS been great. Especially RF remote controls (NOT INFRARED). I needed a replacement for the sharp Roku TV I own and bought this - the only one I could find. The original remote worked fine although it was IR, point it towards the TV and the TV will respond to the appropriate button presses. With new batteries, this remote control should be within 10 feet of the TV's IR receiver directly in front of it and pointing it squarely. It's so frustrating to point the remote at the TV and hit Netflix a thousand times without success. oh wait i moved three inches to the right now it works. phew Disappointing. Aggravating. Unfortunately, a smartphone app is better than this physical one.
