Review on GRK RSS10318 ProPak 5 - 8 inch Structural Fasteners by Nick Kirschenmann

You know, once in a while you come across a product that's so superior to anything you've used in its place, you're blown away. I bought them in August and now it's the end of December. Sorry I didn't write a review sooner. These structural bolts work better and hold up better than anything I've ever used, including bolts and screws. First they drill their own way, whereas a bolt or screw needs to be pre-drilled. Also, they hold up better. Forced movement may occur after plugging the lag to the crushing limit of the material in the joint. No traffic with GRK RSS. From now on, this will be my first consideration for any structure I build. BTW: Also bought a GRK RSS516518HP RSS HandyPak 5/16 for 5-1/8" structural screws, 50 screws per pack and highly recommend!
