Review on πŸ”‘ Dorman 13736 Keyless Entry Transmitter (OE FIX) - Select Models - Comprehensive Review and Buying Guide by Dan Dickey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dorman 13736 for my HHR 2007, "Outstanding " and "Easy ".

The retailer wanted $118 for the remote control and $85 for the software. Buy this and get a programmer and a spare key fob. Get in your car, insert the key and turn. don't start Plug in the programmer and you will see your door locks being recycled. Press and hold the lock/unlock button until the horn/door locks work. Now press and hold the lock/unlock button on your existing remote, just like here. Pull out the programming device, remove the key. You know, there are two remotes programmed. Be confident and make all your keychains, even one that works. My car has a remote start so the Dorman 13736 is perfect for my 2007 HHR. Checked, everything works. Thanks to the seller and Revain. Saved me money and my old HHR now has a spare remote.
