We all know what this switcher is good for. A few quirks make the ATEM mini pro a pain to use. The thing overheats a lot (below) and I don't even use Audio.2. The output randomly becomes blank. I'm using this with Zoom and BMPCC 6k and sometimes the video (as shown in zoom) goes blank. I need to unplug/plug ATEM mini pro before it works again.3. The video settings for the camera you are using are not saved, so the image always looks distorted. The workaround is to write a macro.4. Every time I add something to the media folder, the previous files are increased by one number. So your file named test becomes test2 and then test3. I'm sure it's just a software issue, but it's a real pain. It would be nice if you could increase the size of PIP without writing a macro for it.6. I use the audio interface. It's not clear if it makes sense to use the ATEM audio capabilities. That's something I need to learn, but it's not obvious to me. Mind you, it's still a great price and I would buy it again.
