409 stainless on my review.
Welded up yesterday with stainless wire and some trimix gas. Definitely stainless 409 is magnetic, welded very nice. Our machines are very sensitive and I would have had a very difficult time welding with stainless wire and trimix if it was not stainless. Just my .02. If I were half these people I’d update when it doesn’t fall apart in 2 years. It’s not shiny and pretty like 304.
- A few thousands oversized but very high quality material
- The product may not be compatible with stock exhaust systems, causing additional compatibility issues
