Easy to use and has some simple but interesting features that make me happy. It beeps when you get close to the final temperature reading, giving you an opportunity to do something else nearby until you hear the tone. Almost all food thermometers have the same slow rise time, especially when checking large/thick cuts of meat, so with this one at least you don't have to wait forever just to see the numbers on the screen change. I wish I had bought this before Thanksgiving to test the turkey. It probably wasn't even required, but I'm glad to know I have the option to recalibrate it later in the future if I ever need to.
