Review on 🧊 CJ Industries F101 Fantastic Ice Scraper with Brass Blade, Red: The Ultimate Tool for Effortless Ice Removal by Jason Ingram

Small but powerful for ice scraper and snow brush

Since I bought this scraper over 5 years ago I've had a lot of snow and ice and I've gone through a couple of plastic snow brushes with a cheap scraper for ice at the end. Most days I don't need that special ice scraper because the plastic snow brush is great for scraping snow. However, if there is a layer of ice, this is your hands-free tool. The only thing I can add is that I modified it with leftover modeling clay to make a big fat old buzz handle like a pen for it. that's not so convenient. I'm no physicist, but I think widening the blade might disperse the power too much to make it that effective on ice. The blade makes scraping ice extraordinarily enjoyable because it's so cool. But if they could broaden the blade and it still worked, I'd pay three times more for it. However, it's about the same as or a little wider than most plastic ice scrapers I've bought over the years, so I'm not sure the product is really worth calling. On the other hand, it used to live in my driver's door and is so slim (before the handle modification this year) that it stays in my car year-round. It slid up one day as I pulled a glass for a water bottle from the same door shelf and in my haste didn't notice it. I accidentally cut my stocking leg while getting out of the car. While nylon stockings for women aren't very protective, they are still SHARP so you can store them away from where I originally kept them. Now it lives in my glove box and has a very comfortable but awkward grip. TLDR - works great because it's VERY sharp - store with care and the handle isn't particularly handy if you need to scratch a lot.
