See how it says 600 watts? Okay, that doesn't mean you can handle a 600W load. This means that the total INPUT power of the device can be approximately 600 watts. It can do more for a SHORT TIME, but I haven't tested it with a 50W halogen bulb. One thing's for sure, this thing can drain energy. I was able to burn out the protective part of the filament of both Chinese "blue" h3 bulbs that I tested at 16.5 volts with a direct load connected to the terminals. I only use this for reverse lights. And I have 4 light bulbs of 130 watts. The problem is that I don't think this device can handle 4 of them, maybe it can handle 2 in a short time. But I'm also just ordering 4 x 100W LED chips and shouldn't have any trouble getting them to work.
