This product solved that problem for us. Our new radar detector is slightly rounded at the bottom and the anti-slip pads don't keep it in place - it keeps sliding across the dashboard. We didn't want to put it on the window because it's too far to reach and the suction cups don't hold well. We were looking for something that works, found this product and it works great! It sits on the dashboard like a beanbag and together with a few small non-slip pads keeps the radar detector within reach - great! It occasionally slips a bit, but never strays out of range and usually only in response to some fairly aggressive riding maneuvers.
