How to install safety plastic

My first order came in a long roll. The second order came in rolls of 12 feet. There's a lot less waste when you use a long roll. It is best to cut it with scissors to fit the window. Forget the commercial spray, but you will need a cutter and squeegee. Use a spray bottle with very soapy water. Wash the window well and use a razor blade to remove any debris. Make sure the plastic you cut fits the window. It is best to leave about 1/4 inch clearance on all 4 sides. Then start peeling the plastic backing about 8 or 10 inches from the backing from top to bottom. Then spray the window with soapy water, the more soapy water the better. If it's a large window, it's best to have two people: one holds the protective film on top of the widow, and a second person removes the plastic covering and guides the underside of the protective film into place. Try to work on a day when the wind isn't blowing. Once the protective plastic is in place, use a squeegee to remove the water and air. If you remove all the water and air, you won't have pockmarks when drying, but it's very difficult to get it perfect.
