Mobile. This is a GREAT basket, but a workhorse. I can stuff it with heavy weights and it holds up well on this little plug. At least for now. Nothing will fall through the net except maybe the seeds that might fall from the tree. deep and not so deep that even heavily loaded real groceries don't touch the front fender. I love that I can take it off and wear it indoors to gauge how much to buy and to ward off thieves. We've got them, and they steal anything that isn't even screwed on. It seems that cryers always have tools. I can easily fit the equivalent of a fairly full brown paper grocery bag. But I have a cloth grocery bag that I use to fill the basket, then I tie the top ties to hold everything in place and I go home. I love it. For real. I hope it lasts forever, but if it outlasts the bike I'll be eternally grateful. ATTENTION: The basket connection differs from the picture. In fact at least the one I got has a bracket that attaches to the handlebars and there are large open notches on the bike side of the basket that fit over a short chunky piece that the basket snaps into with a small slide knob, he grabs and releases the basket. It's really brilliant. I'm not very strong, but I had to lift a full basket. But by pulling the knob backwards and pulling up on the handle, you should be able to release it with ease. Just remember, you're not holding a heavy basket in an oddly aligned hand. So I started outfitting the basket with a shopping bag so I could pick up the heavy bag out the front door and THEN remove the already empty basket. Trust me it works. i love this shop
