Review on π₯ Gates 31412 Radiator Cap - Enhanced Standard for Optimal Performance by Jose Cox
MADE IN CHINA, thin but won't leak.
I bought a Gates cap instead of a Stant because the picture shows it was made in South Korea. The reason is that I don't like buying Chinese made parts when I can avoid them. Well it arrived and I opened the beautiful box to see the "MADE IN CHINA" stamped right on the front. Yes, it's a flimsy piece of junk made mostly of plastic, but it seems to be working fine and solved the old lid issue. Make no mistake, it's cheap and flimsy, but I'm not sure another brand is better. OEM Honda might be of better quality but I don't know. 3 stars because it works but the picture is a lie.
