Review on AEM Gun Metal Brute 🔫 Force Intake System 21-8315DC - Charcoal by Sameer Hilton

As some other reviews have noted, installation is a problem. Not only did I have to trim the metal heat shield down a bit (didn't fit to close the hood), but the hose in the valve bleed kit was 5 inches shorter at the end (had to trim my old air hose, which I didn't do and use that as an extension) . Discussable at performance level as always with CAI. I have more traction at high revs (I think when driving freely) and a more aggressive engine sound. Can't comment on MPG yet but I think with a quick breath I can expect 1mpg from this mod alone and up to 4mpg with other mods at the same time. If the kit came out of the box, it won't work. Not a bad deal. I also upgraded my exhaust and overstuffed throttle body as I think all 3 work well together. However, if you use a stock exhaust or an old exhaust/cat, you will definitely save your money. I would just use a quality filter. As for AEM, pack your bags and get this kit ready. I saw no excuse for the two issues I encountered for $220.
