I gave only three stars because the plastic tabs didn't fit the arched windows of my car. GOOD PRODUCT BUT NOT IF YOU OWN A Lexus. I should have listened to the reviewer who said Lexus windows are made so narrow you can't fit the tab between the window and door! SMX! I decided to take a chance and try inserting the latches into the gap between the window and the door. THAT DOES NOT WORK. As an alternative to using tabs, they come with Velcro straps that can be attached to the door to hold the lids in place. I didn't want to stick anything to the interior of my car. Also, some reviews said that the self-adhesive velcro didn't work well in hot summer temperatures and peeled off. So now I'm sending them back. LOL I'm repeating myself for those customers who might be a bit skeptical of reviews like me. As for the product itself, it is of very good quality. My suggestion would be that you check your window slots to make sure you can slide the tabs down before purchasing. The lugs are made of durable plastic, they are not flimsy at all and work very well. The color of the material corresponds to the photo, very nice gray suede look. It has high quality edging on all edges. The material seems thick and strong enough to protect your doors from being scratched by your dog's claws. The only negative comment I have on this product is that it's not as big as I thought it would be. It does not cover the entire top panel of the door surface from edge to edge. You know, the main place your dog puts his paws is to look out the window. There are parts of the door panel that are still prone to being scratched by your dog's claws. It covers a sufficient length of the door panel from top to bottom to protect the door panel from scratches. That would be ideal for small cars. But it doesn't cover the entire inner surface of the door. I wish the door cover was longer and wider. I tried to take a photo to show how it fits but since I couldn't insert the tabs I couldn't show the exact length. Ultimately, if you have a smaller machine with a smaller door area, I would highly recommend this. This is a good product. It's just not for a bigger SUV like my Lexus and x300. But I can't say anything bad about him. My rating is based on the fact that it just doesn't fit my car.
