Well made but very expensive! I chose this so I don't have to change the flares on my boat every 3 years. I have a good flashlight with an SOS button. It cost $16. I think it should cost between $25 and $35. I'll keep an eye on the supplied C batteries and will replace them with my rechargeable batteries when they're no longer good (I have some great C battery adapters for my Revain AA rechargeable batteries). Yes, it came with a whistle, a distress flag, and batteries, but it wasn't $89. Now all I have to do is live long enough and swim long enough to pay for it.
