I had my doubts about this product but got a lot of good reviews. There was a slow drip from the cork in my wife's car. This is most likely because the techs overtightened the fork or used the wrong one. Dude, that pissed me off. I broke down and wanted to replace the entire oil pan for $120 plus my time and a spare gasket the next time I need an oil change. I was watching drain plug leak videos online and someone mentioned this product in the comments and then several others vouched for it. I still profess it to this day! The process was easy. The hardest part is being patient for all the oil to drain out. I've found that if you blow air into the drain plug hole (if you can turn the air compressor to the lowest setting or just blow into the hole in small puffs with your own breath), it blows the remaining puddle out of the drain hole ). The bottom of the pan is enough to stop the dripping. (Not every machine has a drain hole at the very bottom of the sump (mine was angled and sufficient so that all the oil couldn't drain out. The putty I received was still soft so I tried it even though I knew I was going to JB to the Hand had to weld when it doesn't work.It took a few tries to get the putty on the threads to stay in the cavities when unscrewing.Slow down and hold the wrench with one hand so there is no play You can definitely damage the drip pan with too much force, especially with some of the thinner aluminum pans.. I'm sitting under my wife's car I'm deducting a star just because I don't know how long it will last and I don't have it tried changing oil with this bolt but when it pops out and it's that easy I'll definitely give it 5 stars!
