I bought it directly from the x10 website and received it last week. It connects easily and comes with everything you need to do it. I have the transmitter downstairs and the receiver in my bedroom above this room. The picture is fine, but there is background noise from time to time and it seems that the picture sometimes shines a little and then corrects itself even when you point the antennas at each other. I've tried all channels, but I can't get the perfect result. I think most of the interference comes from my WiFi router which also works in the 2.4GHz band, but I can't push it further. I wish x10 would offer a 5.8GHz version so we have options. In the end, it works well enough for my needs, but I wish it wasn't so sensitive to interference or gave us the option of using a 5.8GHz model.
