These headphones seem overpriced to me. I have a Roccat Kone Pro Air mouse and I really like it. These Syn Pro Air match the style and design of the mouse very well, that was one of the reasons I was interested, but some of their other qualities don't make me bid as high. Build Quality: Overall they feel really premium, with soft plastic, solid construction, quality buttons, nice dials, and great looks. I don't have any particular complaints about it, but I will say that this style of ear pads is not my favorite. I prefer softer or leather ear pads over hard mesh. Sound quality: Pretty good. Overall I would say they are above average. I've tried playing around with the equalizer in the software a bit, but it doesn't seem like much. Bass response is decent but not as heavy as I prefer for music. The mids are mostly clean, but can get muddy on heavily loaded music like metal. The highs are good and not overpowering. I think this headset will be pretty good for gaming, but if you want to listen to music you'll probably want to wear something else or use speakers. Range/Connectivity: Terrible. Really terrible. I don't know if I have a bad block or something, but this headset can't even reach a room. What good is a wireless headset if I can't get into the kitchen in my apartment without unplugging the headset. Still, reconnects are very bad, sometimes if you're unlucky it even gets static while sitting next to your rig. The only way to get rid of the hissing is to switch to a different audio device and come back. In case you're wondering, I tried a different USB port in a different location on my computer, but it made no difference. I think that's unacceptable for a $150 headset. Microphone: I don't generally use this mic for gaming since I mount it on my desk, but I love that you can physically remove it from the headset when not in use. I wish more manufacturers would do this. I think the quality is pretty decent but nothing to write home about. It's a heat set mic, what do you expect? Battery Life: To be honest, I didn't drain the battery at all, so I think the battery life is pretty good, but using it wirelessly is so painful that I wish I could plug it in anyway. Conclusion: This headset is not bad, with good sound quality, good battery, nice looks, average comfort, but for the price I just can't recommend it. My $50 Razer Blackshark V2 X sounds just as good and is more comfortable. They're wired, sure, but I'd rather have a wired connection than leave the wifi turned off all the time. Oh, and the software is good too, but it's extremely stupid that they force you to download separate headphone software. They either had to integrate them into Swarm or the mouse into Neon. Why don't you have AIMO light transmission? Isn't that the main thing?
