I installed one of these on my 98 RAM 1500. This resolved my "won't stay on" condition, but was short-lived. I've done enough testing to see what the problem might be. Everything from O2 sensors to a MAP sensor to a crankshaft position sensor. It's back to that block that's bad. The company was honest and sent me a new replacement but that too died within 6 months. I know we all want the cheapest replacement part, but I just can't recommend this one. Sometimes they hit and miss, but this one was definitely a miss. Spend a few bucks more and get one with a good guarantee.
