Our cat chewed (constantly) on my husband's silicone mats so I wondered if it looked like a teething toy and yes, it CHEWS. If you have a cat, the ones with handles are best (we also have a bee and it has an antenna). But they are the most popular. She pulls them out of her toy basket in the middle of the night and "kills" them in the lobby, then howls to let us know what a super predator she is. She then sits down to chew on them. They travel all over the house so we know she loves them. Such a cool cat toy. I'm glad the kids love them too, but my kids have grown up and now I have a cat who thinks it's a lion.
