I have to say that the overall quality of this product is good. It is significantly lighter than the original Ford H-Pipe for the HPP Crown Vic/Grand Marquis or the P71 Police Interceptor and delivers optimal V8 sound. On the other hand, the H-pipe flanges weren't welded properly and didn't match the catalytic converter flanges on my car. I had a choice: do something stupid and try to fix the problem myself, or take the H-pipe to a professional plumber to have the pipe's seat on my car massaged along with the rest of the exhaust system on my car. This ended up being the best way to go as my car is less than 6 months old and the pros at the local exhaust shop massaged the part to fit my application. Yes, this is a DIY screw-on part. but be prepared to have some tools to make everything like a factory.
