Works great and the price is great - but the pendulum hit the sides

Bought to fix an old "Regulator" clock that hadn't worked for several years. Replacing the movement took only a few minutes, although I spent more time cleaning a watch that had sat on a shelf for years. Now it works fine. This is a type of "Regulator" clock that has a round top with wood around the dial and a rectangular bottom that extends underneath and has a window to view the pendulum. The pendulum struck one of the sides of the case just enough to cause a faint smack with its nose. I couldn't find anything about changing the swing of the pendulum other than swapping out the pendulum for a smaller one, so I just took a small felt pad and taped it to the sides where the pendulum would hit the body. Problem solved! I used a 1 inch circle felt pad to use on the bottom of a chair leg to prevent it from scratching the floor. I just cut one in half and put half on each side. Before ordering this watch, I had reviewed the movements at a few other online watch stores and all parts, including shipping, were said to be $30 or $40. I'm glad I checked out Revain again and found it at a much lower price.
