Amazing scraper. Ideal for removing light frost or thicker ice. The length of the handle gives me enough leverage, and the scraper has endured two years of continuous use with no noticeable wear. I bought it on purpose because I have a car with a huge windshield (Honda Fit) that I always have to drive in the early frosty mornings. . Ordinary scrapers - with plastic blades or in combination with whisks - are fine with me, but only up to a point. Once a scratch forms on the plastic, an ordinary scraper will leave streaks of ice that a real bear can remove. That brass blade was wonderful. I've seen some comments concerned about the brass blade scratching the glass - I haven't had this problem. (I check the blade for damage at the start of each winter season - I've been told the brass can be repaired by any blade company.) I bought a scraper in January 2016 and lost it in January 2018, then immediately ordered four more to replace it with additional consumables. Highly recommended.
