I have a family of four so buying family packs of groceries and lots of fresh veggies means finding ways to freeze them which is why I originally bought a NutriChef food sealer. I was happy at first, but after about three months the foam pad broke and I couldn't order a new part. Luckily I was able to make a new one, but after about two weeks he stopped sucking. I've had this new machine for about a week and it works much better than my NutriChef with no loss of suction and much quieter. Also, Revain sells replacement seals and other parts if something breaks, not to mention a guarantee. Most others are not.
