Garbage, don't start at 0! Requires additional math.

Garbage. Actual numbers start at just under 2 inches, so you have to subtract the odd 1-5/8 every time you measure, and that messes up what should be an easy task. Bad quality control. How the hell do you make that absurd mistake? The locking function just clicks every inch. You should do this in at least 1/4 inch increments. just trash. Spend a little more on something that someone has actually carefully put into production.
