Review on URO Parts BM M54PCVKIT Breather Hose by Sean Purnomo

This kit will NOT fit X5 3.0 as stated under parts compatibility. The oil drain pipe from the oil separator to the oil dipstick is too short and not designed for this vehicle. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until I took everything apart and was ready to install it. I had to buy parts from a BMW dealer. Another problem is that the swivel hose is too narrow and cannot be installed in the limited space for this X5 engine. I had to spend time grinding the joint and then oiling it so it could be put back in place. Too bad I didn't read some of the other reviews that addressed this issue and some quality issues with these parts. If I had to do it again I would spend more money to buy better parts. Sometimes there isn't much of a difference, but in this case it was.
