I don't know why I can't contact the seller directly as I don't have a logistical problem with the product, ie it is as advertised and delivered on time. But both filters I received were contaminated with pathogens and I wanted to see if I need to return items or what I need to do for a refund as I've only been using the filters for a few days. After noticing bacteria growing in the first filter, I removed it, tested and sterilized the system. But without success it turned out that the second filter was colonized with the same bacteria as on day 1-2 of use. I had to remove this filter. I would recommend everyone to look at the source of these filters. I found several articles on the EPA website addressing this issue. An article "Bacteria Attached to Granular Activated Carbon in Drinking Water" can be found on the EPA website. I wouldn't recommend these filters and I'm not sure I got a bad batch. Also, I had to remove the relevant charcoal block filter cartridges as the water system is a 3 stage filtration system and the charcoal filters were fouling the entire system.
