combs exactly as described! You seem strong enough. But with that in mind, these combs are designed to separate and detangle fine/baby hair. I would not comb my 4a/4b natural hair with it. I use a wide-toothed comb and a Denman brush. Just thought I would clarify my purpose for the combs. Are you willing to give negative feedback for not buying combs that arrived broken (which can happen with any package), or combs that break easily or don't withstand being dropped on the floor? Things made of certain materials tend to break. As combs break easily, this only reflects how you care for your items and whether you use them for purposes they were not designed for. I would buy again in the future. This is just my honest review.
