Review on KitchenAid KQ900 Single Digital Inches by Tracy Nuy

Save money on kitchen and dining

Kitchen Aid is known for quality – at least when it comes to kitchen appliances. This kitchen timer, while beautiful as a work of art, is useless as a timer. Using the three (count: 3) buttons is not intuitive. Press any key and reliably nothing happens. My old Radio Shack kitchen timer has 12 buttons. Too bad it's no longer available. The Kitchen Aid timer is extremely poor technology. The people who designed it obviously thought that nothing else would matter if the display was big enough. When you finally get it to work, the beep is too quiet. If you need a good timer, buy another product. I almost cut my hand trying to open the box that contained the Kitchen Aid timer. Any tool you use to open it must be extremely dangerous to remove the device. Just a razor sharp blade applied with great force will suffice. Requires a 12 button digital timer (if you want an efficient timer) and that's what you should look for on the internet. And they are actually available at a very reasonable price.
