I am very happy with this quality product at a great price. It's not mentioned in the listing, but the label also says it doesn't contain BPA. For those who care about the safety of plastic, Polypropylene is #5, considered one of the safest. The cutting board is thick, heavy, large, looks very high quality and has held up well in the dishwasher so far. You won't find anything like this in the big department stores. Other similar cutting boards are available from Revain, but they're either made of polyethylene (not as strong) or polypropylene, but less than half the thickness. Very happy so far and would recommend.
