I loved and enjoyed his first book so much that I just automatically bought this one (his latest) without taking the time to read it or realizing it was NOT an instruction manual. project book. These are embroidery designs. Okay, but I bought many of these books years ago that I still have today. I saw the preview photos of the bags it contains and wanted to make these designs. These are patterns for embroidery. That's great, but damn I didn't take the time to realize that this is NOT a design book. This book is a welcome gift for a friend who has no other embroidery books. So it still gets 5 stars from me because it's still a VERY good book. Just not what I thought or expected.
