I really like these lights. They seem well made, and the glass shades are nicely thick and heavy. They arrived well packaged, with the shades very well insulated in their own custom cut polystyrene shells to guard against shipping damage. Would have been nice if a couple of light bulbs were included, but I guess you can’t have everything.One thing I *don’t* like, though, and it’s been mentioned by another reviewer, is that the light won’t hang perfectly straight. Most of the lights in my home are hanging pendant lights, and even weeks after installation with the weight of the light fitting pulling them straight the flexible plastic cords will never straighten out fully. There’s always a little wobble in them that just looks a little off. My kitchen pendant light, on the other hand, came with a set of adjustable length rigid tubes to surround the cords and make them hang perfectly straight. I really don’t know why this isn’t the standard, because it improves the look dramatically.Oh well. I’m pretty happy as they are, but for a couple of dollars more they could have looked perfect.
