This also requires the installation of a plate behind the latch hook which (sometimes) has no countersunk head and comes with a very small pan head screw. The plate is needed for a tight seal. I'll update my review once I get a longer screw and a thinner plate. In addition, it cannot be determined whether the screws are stainless steel or ordinary steel. (Possible rust problem.) They are definitely not brass after using them. Update 18th September: Bought 5 more for extra blinds, 1 of which had no hole in the countersunk latch for the screw. So 2 out of 6 was not done right, not a very good chance. To be honest I was ready to sink the rest but was pleasantly surprised to see that the new batch was (mostly) done and painted correctly. Very painful so I am sending it back and ordering a replacement. Save my sinkers for more important things.
