I bought these stones for my four year old to add to his growing stone collection. He is very fond of stones and is always on the lookout for beautiful ones, and this small collection of stones will make a great addition to his collection. To make it more fun, I put some rocks outside for him to find himself and encouraged him to look for interesting rocks. The variety in this collection is really good. Some of the stones are quite common in our area, others we have never seen before. There are many colors and patterns for a wide variety. They can also be used in aquariums or as a mulch in potted plants.
