Review on 🍷 Effortless Unbottling: Chrome Rabbit Wing Corkscrew for Flawless Wine Extraction by Erik Richardson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Simplicity, Reliability, Reasonable Price

When you want to relax after a hard day and enjoy a glass of your favorite wine, you don't need to spend a lot of energy to open a bottle. The chrome plated winged corkscrew is easy to use and although I've only used it a couple of times it has a solid construction that looks like it will last for many years. It's a very powerful device with a thick center shaft. And when not in use, the handles fit snugly against the body for better storage. The Chrome Bunny Wing Corkscrew works basically like a traditional "jumping jack" corkscrew with two levers that you lower once the spiral is inserted into the cork. But unlike the traditional model, it grips the top of the bottle when turning the screw. And because the spiral is thin and made of non-stick metal, it takes less effort to screw into the cork, which is all the more important since many "corks" are made of plastic, which is much harder to break through. .But don't expect this device to be as surprisingly simple as the original rabbit corkscrew. With the original bunny, simply push and pull up and shazam, the cork will be removed. Then the cork is removed from the corkscrew with one more movement. This model still requires essentially the same movements as the traditional "jumping jack". The instructions state that you can simply twist the head to pry the plug out, which is entirely possible, but I did it the old fashioned way of twisting the plug off the screw by hand. Despite the original Rabbit's mechanical flaws, this device will likely last longer. I actually have the original rabbit, but it sits in my closet and is no longer used because the spool broke. The push-pull motion puts more stress on the filament and tends to break it.
