I opened the box to check. I use them to build a wooden boat. The quality seems very consistent and every screw is the same as the next but one. I counted 100 of which 99 are Phillips head screws and one is a standard screwdriver slot and the threads on this screw are incomplete as if a bad or incomplete screw was thrown together with a good one. I did not use these screws. If there are any quality issues while using it, I will try to update my rating. The color and consistency is brass colored and the screw where the thread was left unfinished was brass colored throughout.
