But it is beautiful. in spares

First of all it's too early to give an overview of the ride but installation should be easy and you won't need to sand the damper as long as the mounts are ok like I do You'll have to sand the top of the shock to get it to fit. This is only because it is an old car and the brackets have been crushed from previous installations. However, they fit on brand new lower control arms with plenty of room to give if your control arm mount is pinched. You can bend them with a pry bar to reattach the shock absorber. No grinding is required, but you have no choice but to grind the top of the shock. If your top mounts got crushed because of this, you can use something else or just sand it down and deal with the headache, but it's all good. I'll give another ride and tow report later in a few hours. PS: The rear shock absorbers fit well, there is no problem in the rear, only in the front
