Brass disappears after 1-2 months of use

We have installed them in all sizes in our kitchen and butler pantry. These are a good and cheaper alternative to more expensive pens, but they only last a month at most. They are brass disappear within a month in high traffic kitchen locations. We use very gentle cleaning agents, which unfortunately fade. So if you don't need them for a FLIP or a temporary situation and you don't use them often they are perfect, if you use them in places where you are frequent then I suggest another pen with better coverage. These grips are very light and hollow, but I don't have a problem with that. If they didn't fade they would be ideal for their price.
