Don't do the dealer.
Husband just installed, fits perfectly, took about 10 minutes Same better quality than the original, this is the first time ever in my fusion. I have a 2008 Fusion SEL AWD with 65,000 miles and never (thank goodness) had any problems but when the button just failed when I called the dealer they said about $110. Now it seems like a good choice not to go to the dealer for such trifles. My only advice is to watch the YouTube video before installing, however they have a video for Fusion 2008.
