Review on Sea to Summit Field Buckle with Removable Pin for Easy Repair by Eddie Fowler

I have a Tops High desert survival knife. He has a special scabbard with a strap that snapped. The purpose of the branch was to hold my Life Sharp Field Sharpener. Given that these types of buckles are proprietary and would be a hassle to remove/install, I was at a loss. A Google search found this article. What a life saver! It attaches with a screw that fastens on one end and uses a strap and Velcro on the other. As they are expensive I was concerned but the price of a new custom made sheath would cost me a lot more. If you have a buckle that fails you in the field, it doesn't hurt to have one or two of these as a handy repair option. I'm very satisfied with this product. Definitely FIVE stars!
