    Alice in Wonderland!

    ALICE military backpacks remain among the best in terms of value for money for hiking and bushcraft. One of their downsides is the uncomfortable, non-removable strap buckles. These 1" single pin field repair clips are the perfect upgrade for allowing quick access to the lid without losing the strap attachment points. Easy to use, strong and durable!

    Worked great for rowing

    This was my second attempt at fixing a broken backpack. I used to order a buckle with a pin that went into the holes, not screwed. The needle came out after 2 weeks. This buckle is much better (albeit 2.5 times more expensive) as the pin needs to be screwed in with a small Phillips head to make it appear like it will stay in the buckle.

    Simple and secure belt clip with nylon strap

    I bought this buckle to replace a broken one on my favorite (read: old) expensive North Face hiking pants. The repair was easy and works just as well as the original buckle. New life for old shorts! Oh, I also use some threadlocker to keep the screw he used to attach the buckle to the belt from loosening over time.

    Superb Replacement Buckle

    I have a strong addiction to this buckle. I bought the bag here from Revain where the manufacturer bought cheap buckles with no nylon impregnation that kept breaking. These buckles are AMAZING and solve the problem without having to sew in new buckle parts. You need to measure and note if you need a one pin or two pin buckle depending on your settings. They seem durable and work great!

    Will buy again best for boating and sailing

    I haven't had a chance to test these things in the field under stress but they fit perfectly on the 1 inch strap of my hunting backpack and they seem to do a lot be of higher quality than the plastic buckles that were on the bag and quickly broke. The strap sewn into the bag stretches much softer with these buckles than with the cheap buckles that were on the bag, but it still seems to hold the tension very well. So far very satisfied

    I have a Tops High desert survival knife. He has a special scabbard with a strap that snapped. The purpose of the branch was to hold my Life Sharp Field Sharpener. Given that these types of buckles are proprietary and would be a hassle to remove/install, I was at a loss. A Google search found this article. What a life saver! It attaches with a screw that fastens on one end and uses a strap and Velcro on the other. As they are expensive I was concerned but the price of a new custom made sheath…

    Only ONE post is removable - I wanted to remove BOTH for easier repairs

    I received this product because I had a broken buckle on my backpack. Product photos show that there is a stand that bolts on, allowing for the quickest and easiest repair. So the bar worked well for one of the straps. But on the other strap I had to cut the stitching that wrapped the strap around the plastic post and then sew the strap back on. While it was better than sewing BOTH webbing, it took longer than I really wanted to sew. The quality of the product is pretty good. So I will…

    I'm always surprised by great product reviews, but I later find out that high reviews are often related to a product's reasonable price, not its overall quality. What's the point of being delirious because you got a good discount on an inferior product?     I haven't had a chance to stress test these things in the field, but they are perfect for my 1" webbing hunting backpack, and they seem to be of much better quality than the plastic buckles that came with the bag and broke in no time.The strap sewn into the bag stretches a lot softer with these buckles than with the cheap buckles that came with the bag, but it still shines Hold the tension very well.Very happy so far
