Review on Sea to Summit Field Buckle with Removable Pin for Easy Repair by Joseph Lang

I received this product because I had a broken buckle on my backpack. Product photos show that there is a stand that bolts on, allowing for the quickest and easiest repair. So the bar worked well for one of the straps. But on the other strap I had to cut the stitching that wrapped the strap around the plastic post and then sew the strap back on. While it was better than sewing BOTH webbing, it took longer than I really wanted to sew. The quality of the product is pretty good. So I will recommend it for this reason. But I'm downgrading it because it does NOT work as a simple repair component that the product information suggests. It seems to be the best repair buckle. So I bought it and took the time to sew it onto my backpack. As long as you are ready to sew, I recommend the product - I have had good results.
