One day I received this kettle and I can't understand why I waited so long. The old kettle was all metal (I thought it would be more reliable). Either boil the water or not. Then, a few years later, I saw why: Everything is rusty. I drank water with rust in it and had no idea how long. So this time I decided to use a glass teapot. It turns out the bottom of it (the part that heats the water) is metal, but if it's rusting underneath I can see it. Also, the opening of this teapot is wide enough that I can reach to clean it whenever I want. And I can say what water temperature I want. My green tea has never tasted so good!
