I was initially attracted to this kettle because it was primarily made of glass and stainless steel, but what really drew me in was the LED lighting. It replaces a worn out kettle I got in college. This new kettle is great for tea and baby bottles! I like that there are separate temperatures and not just boiling like in my old kettle.

This teapot has 5 temperature settings for different types of tea and is easy to switch to select the one you want. The kettle heats up very quickly and signals with a beep that the water is ready. Each temperature setting is a different color while heating, and the light turns off when the water is ready. So if you don't hear a beep, you can see the light is off. Very happy with this product. It's beautiful and easy to use. I've used it a lot for pots of tea and started with pasta. Not quite sure if this saves time or power. A safety note for those who have kids who can fit in anything: the base isn't the sturdiest thing. I think it can be easily knocked down. I had no problems with it, just an observation. I've had this kettle for 8 months now and I really love it. the bottom of this teapot. This happened to me for the first few uses BUT then I started refilling the kettle while my tea was brewing and leaving the lid open to allow the inside to dry out when I was done using the kettle during the day. Read my title first, this is no joke, this thing is raw! Cooks faster than my gas stove. I specifically chose glass containers to avoid odors and chemicals.
