Worked amazingly well. Very sturdy, seemed well made and held a lot of stuff. We put everything in large plastic containers and coolers, both for protection and because they fit very well in a cargo bag, and filled them. With everything loaded we were concerned that the contents would shift under braking or hitting bumps or whatever, but it holds everything very securely and nothing shifts, even on bumpy, twisty dirt roads and frosty rolling. The only downside was that when we first used it we struggled to figure out the best way to install, download and then back it up. As with everything, it took a long time the first time, but the next time was quicker than we figured it out. Overall we were very satisfied and after two long trips across Alaska our equipment arrived safely.
