Worked great! for outdoor accessories

Worked amazingly well. Very sturdy, seemed well made and held a lot of stuff. We put everything in large plastic containers and coolers, both for protection and because they fit very well in a cargo bag, and filled them. With everything loaded we were concerned that the contents would shift under braking or hitting bumps or whatever, but it holds everything very securely and nothing shifts, even on bumpy, twisty dirt roads and frosty rolling. The only downside was that when we first used it we…

Life Saver is the best among cargo carriers

I LOVE IT! We travel a lot which requires a lot of gear and I also refuse to go anywhere without certain amenities so we pack a lot of stuff! We also have a very big child and 2-3 dogs with us when we travel so we need space. For the first time ever we were able to take everything we could think of and there was still room - the back of the Suburban was half empty and the bag could have held more! Yes I had to use a ladder and some gymnastics but that is due to the size of our car. The first…

I love this cargo roof bag!

We bought this bag for our 2017 Honda Pilot (along with the roof rack shown in the photo). It worked great! This thing is waterproof - many on the market are just waterproof. A heavy duty zip covers three of the four sides, there is a flap that closes the zip and a Velcro strap that holds the flap in place. We drove 800 miles with this bag on the roof, through a light rain storm and quite a strong wind, and it never moved and everything stayed dry. We could load 4 pilot cases (small cases)…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Legacy model

Totally useless. End of the story. Yes, there are reviews that acknowledge this and dismiss the issue. Driven hundreds of miles in the pouring rain with no problems. BUT. If I have to do anything to prevent moisture from getting into the roof storage bag, it's a product design flaw. It is not suitable for the intended use! On the front of the bag there is a vent against the prevailing winds, which is not attached. There are no conditions for its provision. If you think I'm going to use duct…

Perfect fit for my Curt Extended Rack. The zipper works well and is large. The closed valve protects the equipment from dust and moisture. Runs on dusty trails and rain with no problems. The ability to open the flap to the side and load the bag is a plus. I loaded other bags from behind. They are a bit bigger than I would like and encourage you to put too many things in them. However, other lower profile bags I found didn't fit the rack dimensions. I was disappointed that this is a Hypalon type

This bag was so good I finally had to write a review for Revain.

I'm one of those idiots who always read Revain reviews but never leave them. Well this bag worked so well I was just about to finally write a review after years of buying things from Revain. I recently traveled from the upstate to the far south and used this bag on my jeep. At first the weather was lousy before I moved, and when a good day came about a week before my move, I jumped at the opportunity and loaded my bag. Snow, rain, sleet and strong winds. On an actual ride down I encountered…

Confirmed: The zipper is not waterproof. Not at all.

As others have said this bag is not waterproof as the zipper is not waterproof. The bag is a clamshell, so the zip runs along three sides of its rectangle, with the only unzipped side (the "hinge") being on the long side. This makes it easier to get in and out of the bag and also means that one of the zipper sides (short) always faces forward when the bag is on the roof of the car (wind and rain). when your car drives down the street). Unfortunately, even if you leave both zippers at the back…
