Review on πŸ‘œ Spacious and Convenient: CURT 18221 Extended Roof Rack Cargo Bag for All Your Travel Essentials by Uriel Arocha

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The decision to put the zip on the front to make it easier to open from the side was a bad, bad decision

Totally useless. End of the story. Yes, there are reviews that acknowledge this and dismiss the issue. Driven hundreds of miles in the pouring rain with no problems. BUT. If I have to do anything to prevent moisture from getting into the roof storage bag, it's a product design flaw. It is not suitable for the intended use! On the front of the bag there is a vent against the prevailing winds, which is not attached. There are no conditions for its provision. If you think I'm going to use duct tape or whatever to make your product work, you're terribly mistaken. bad decision. Water seeped through. In any case, besides hope and prayer, there must be a way to attach the flap to the zipper. Check out the attached photos. The oil stain is from the chainsaw and the wet stains are from the rain blowing on the front of the bag. The first photo shows the bag from the front, the second from the back. I had cardboard in case of an oil leak and that was it. A small puddle has also formed under the box due to the rain, but only at the front.
