Review on 🚗 Metra 95-7313 Double DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 2001-2006 Hyundai Vehicles (Black) by James Pernell

I bought this to fit a new radio on my 2006 Hyundai Tiburon. After all is said and done, the radio is connected and mounted. Why am I giving two stars? Well I knew I would have to cut off the 3 bottom prongs for this to work. This applies to all Hyundai Tiburons (03-08). Unfortunately, none of the regular scissors I had around my apartment did the job, so I had to buy heavy-duty scissors to fully trim the teeth. The other issue I have is that it only uses a 2 point mounting method compared to the factory 4 point radio. I would really like a mounting kit that looks like the factory brackets for a more solid installation. I couldn't use the factory brackets on my particular radio because the unit was sticking out too much and I couldn't reattach the console cover. My third and final complaint about this kit is the quality of the kit itself. Only thing is the plastic is so flimsy. I would like the fasteners to be stronger. Well, those are my thoughts on the subject. It works, but it's not phenomenal. I would use a different set but couldn't find anything else.
